Claire & Billy's Late Summer Wedding at Cain Manor, Hampshire

Claire & Billy chose the golden hush of late summer for their wedding day at Cain Manor, and the Hampshire countryside obliged with soft, honeyed light that lasted long into the evening. Ideal for the all important wedding day photo opportunities.

The Morning & Arrival

The morning began gently, with the bridesmaids’ deep wine-red gowns hanging ready against Cain Manor’s rustic timber frame — a striking preview of the colour story to come. Claire’s off-the-shoulder lace gown, soft and romantic, was paired with a bouquet of white roses, anemones and trailing eucalyptus, setting a tone that was elegant without ever feeling formal.

Music Room Ceremony

Claire and Billy exchanged their vows in Cain Manor’s triple-height Music Room, where original oak beams and soaring windows have long made it one of Hampshire’s most atmospheric ceremony spaces. Guests were seated either side of a petal lined aisle lit with flickering candles, the bridesmaids in their rich red dresses providing a beautiful contrast against the venue’s honey-toned beams and pale walls.

Claire & Billy's Styling & Décor

The couple’s styling leaned into deep autumnal tones — burgundy, dusty rose and cream — layered with soft eucalyptus and trailing greenery. Reception tables were dressed simply and beautifully: clusters of bud vases and vintage glass bottles in varying heights held garden roses and sprays of waxflower, arranged atop rustic wood-slice bases alongside flickering votive candles.

Bottomless Drinks Reception & Venue Grounds

Following the ceremony guests spilled out into Cain Manor’s landscaped grounds for the drink’s reception, taking full advantage of the exclusive use wedding venue’s manicured lawns and gardens. Family portraits were taken beneath the sweeping willow tree, followed by Group photographs on the lawn.

Reception & Evening Celebration

Guests moved through to Cain Manor’s Music Room for the wedding breakfast, its vaulted oak ceiling strung with fairy lights overhanging the round tables below. Wine bottles chilled in ice buckets, candlelight flickered across white linen, and the burgundy-and-blush florals added subtle pops of colour. In the evening, a sweet treat came in the form of a tiered white wedding cake, dressed with sugar peonies and finished with personalised sugar hearts, alongside a tower of cupcakes topped with chocolate shards and delicate florals.

As night fell, the Music Room transformed once again. The white dance floor lit up beneath the twinkling canopy above, and Claire and Billy kicked off the evening’s dancing with a spirited game of Mr & Mrs (hosted by MC & Magician Dean) that had guests roaring with laughter.
