The whole venue is utterly beautiful. Food and drink were phenomenal. What sold Cain Manor to us was their planning system, which we’d hoped would take some of the stress away. Well, it did! There is so much to do for a wedding, but having so much of it organised through their planner made the process less stressful for us, it was really incredible. We were supported throughout planning by Maisie, and on the day by Philippa, who were incredible in making our day perfect for us. The online planner really helped to keep our day organised. The food was amazing, the service even better. Our guests loved the food and the set up of the bars throughout the day. The grounds were spectacular, helped by the weather on our day but absolutely would have worked with the rain to move inside and accommodate our 140 guests. This venue just says yes, and makes it work. We had trestle tables, not round, and fireworks. Both things that Notley helped us to accommodate that other venues didn’t.

We chose Cain Manor to celebrate our big day back in April, and we couldn’t have had a better day or recommend them enough! From the very beginnings of contact they were amazing; hugely attentive, friendly and very interested in hearing how we envisaged our day. When we found that Cain Manor had an online wedding planning system it was a huge plus for us in terms of making our lives easier. The software they used nudged us when we needed to make decisions and it was such an easy way to track payments, choices etc. Another thing we also found much easier was just how much was included in the overall price; of course there were add ons but the amount they include was awesome. The staff there were second to none. Elliyah and Megan who we worked with closely were so friendly, lovely and were there on the day to make sure it all ran smoothly. Every single staff member worked seamlessly to provide a fantastic service, and every single one of our guests had the best day, including us of course. The food, music, and drinks were all amazing. We were lucky enough to get married outside in the garden, so we really were able to enjoy every part of Cain Manor.

Our wedding day was beyond what we had dreamed of. The venue was stunning. The staff, especially Ellie and Maura, were incredibly helpful and really did minimise our stress. They were incredibly attentive and took good care of each of us, our families and the rest of guests. The service throughout the day and night was impeccable. To top it all off, the food was tasty. The preferred suppliers that we used combined with the beauty of Notley Abbey and the attentiveness of the Notley Abbey staff made our day truly special. Many of our guests told us this was the best wedding they have ever been to!

We absolutely loved our wedding day, and it ran so smoothly because the Harper Weddings service is clearly a well-oiled machine and the staff are all lovely! Cain Manor is absolutely stunning and we have some amazing photos to treasure thanks to the gorgeous grounds and building. The food and drinks were a big hit with our guests, as were the bedrooms and guest facilities. There were so many little touches that were so well thought-out, from the tea and coffee stations in the rooms, to the attentive Wedding Managers, and finally ending with the wholesome the family and friends night-cap in the bar, and having the slice of cake taken to the Bridal Suite too! Those touches really made the day extra special.

We had such a fun time at Botleys and the team were so helpful before, during and after the event. Deciding to book out the rooms upstairs was priceless – it meant our closest guests could go upstairs to relax and get changed without rushing, then we all hung out until the early hours and went to bed. I just wanted to personally thank, and congratulate, the team who looked after us so professionally. The level of service we, as guests, received was superb. The attention to detail, and to our enjoyment and comfort, was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and we were looked after extremely well. Everyone I encountered was courteous and professional. The meal we enjoyed so much was absolutely delicious, and the information given to our lactose free/vegetarian family member with each course at time of serving, was first class and I must say unexpected! Elliyah too, all the staff were superb. There were so, so many really nice personal touches along the way, Kim felt so well looked after by Mickayla, who was constantly around to check all was OK. We had the most amazing time! Lucy, Tom, Betty and Yasmin were amazing on the day – being quietly on the sidelines in case we needed anything and providing advice throughout – not to mention having an aperol to sip in between shots and having a cloth to dust us off so our outfits looked pristine in the photos! Wizard was well taken care of, he thoroughly enjoyed his ‘Paw-star Martini and gourmet chicken dinner’! It was a seamless day – one we, and our guests, will never forget.

The setting is absolutely stunning, and the team were amazing from start to finish. Throughout the planning process, we had regular meetings and were given so much support and advice, which made everything feel stress-free. They have an amazing website app where you put all of your food choices, seating plans etc which is so helpful. We used some of Cain Manor’s recommended suppliers, who were all brilliant and really understood the venue. On the day everything was set up beautifully without us having to worry about a thing. The food was absolutely sensational and the team were accommodating with our preferences. The day flowed seamlessly and ended with a brilliant night of dancing. We’re so grateful to the whole team and couldn’t recommend Cain Manor more!

Jill is an incredible person and her presence at our wedding really helped to make it extra special. She was absolutely incredible, so attentive and friendly. I’ve had so many of our wedding guests who said they absolutely loved her! Some even took photos with her. She was also the first person to greet me when I came downstairs before walking down the aisle. She could tell that I was really nervous and she really took care of me.

Without a doubt the most perfect venue and we could not have asked for more. From the incredible food, to the impeccable service, to the flawlessly beautiful & clean venue, we were blown away by how special the venue and day was and so were our guests. We honestly could not recommend Botleys more… our guests have continually commented on the WOW factor of the venue, especially our grand entrance via the atrium stairs! From the first day we viewed Notley, we loved the venue and the staff. The staff responded quickly to any queries we had and helped us with vendors too. The food tasting was incredible, with a variety of choices and a sommelier to advise on what wines paired best with each course. The attention to detail was immaculate throughout the whole planning experience and the day of. The morning of our wedding, it rained, and upon arrival we were met by staff with umbrellas leading us to the building, and again when I walked to the ceremony. We’re truly grateful to have had our wedding at Notley.

Quite honestly we have been amazed at how incredible the whole day was. The immaculate presentation of the grounds and reception areas with all our request perfectly fulfilled, the wedding breakfast room set up with such complete precision and care. The front of house staff were amazing, attentive, engaging, funny. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. The food was beautifully and consistently presented. Generous portions, and delicious from start to finish. Everyone commented it was some of the best food they had had. There is no doubt you have the perfect recipe for a wonderful event, credit to the entire team for their dedication, care and commitment. One of the best parts of our experience was our assigned coordinators on the day as they made us feel so special and at ease. Betty, Lucy, and Antonio were all so kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and wait on us hand and foot, and we can’t overstate this enough! I even got some of the canapé on my dress and Lucy was a hero coming in to help clean it off so it was barely there.
