The Light Painters

We are a husband and wife, wedding photography & video team and have been shooting weddings all over the UK and around the world since 2015.

We have a storyteller style to our photography which is a mix of documentary and a relaxed editorial edge. We capture the day unobtrusively as it naturally unfolds as well as guiding those intimate creative moments too. We tell a story through our images that evokes emotion, bringing back those real memories from the day – the tears, the belly laughs and everything in between.

Our approach to weddings is with a goal of sinking into it, not in a fly on the wall sort of way but in a way that blends in with your guests and feels like extra friends to support you on the day, that match your energy and excitement.

We give creative guidance and help to achieve your vision for how you imagined your wedding and photos to be, as well as make you feel amazing and your best self in front of the camera. We can give as much or as little guidance, and adapt our style to fit your personality whether you are nervous about photos or you absolutely love it and can’t get enough (or somewhere in the middle!) – we’ve got you covered! We discuss all the details before the wedding so on the day you can focus on staying fully present with your guests and trust us to document your vision, the details and your favourite people.
