A sun‑drenched June day set the tone for Matt and Ryan’s joyful same‑sex wedding at Cain Manor, where rustic charm, rolling Hampshire countryside and a pastel colour palette came together perfectly. With golden light filtering through the surrounding gardens and the thrill of celebration in the air, their wedding day felt effortlessly warm and uplifting.
From the couple’s morning prep to their final dance, Cain Manor’s charming exclusive use setting gave Matt and Ryan complete freedom to create a wedding that reflected their relationship – stylish, light‑hearted and full of meaningful moments. An inflatable Pikachu costume, a loved character of Matthew & Ryan, stood at the Cain Manor entrance to welcome guests. A fun and uplifting meet & greet, setting the fun tone for the wedding day ahead.
For Matthew & Ryan, the excitement began with the morning preparations in Cain Manor’s Getting Ready Room and Cain Suite. Matthew and Ryan chose tailored pale suits that felt modern yet timeless. Each suit allowed their personality to shine with Matthew’s subtle jacquard pattern and Ryan’s pearl embellishments.
One particularly memorable moment came as the couple shared a private first touch, each excitedly stood either side of the Cain Suite door. Matthew and Ryan’s ceremony took place in Cain Manor’s Music Room. Known for its vaulted ceiling, exposed oak beams and dramatic window, the room was dressed with a spectacular pastel floral lined aisle and two freestanding arrangements to frame the “I do” moment. The styling throughout the wedding day enhanced Cain Manor’s historic charm rather than overpowering it. Soft pastel florals – blush, ivory, pale blue and gentle greens – were carried through Ryan’s bouquet, the couples buttonholes and the wedding breakfast tables paired with soft sage table runners, hinting to the surrounding Hampshire countryside. Another unforgettable highlight was the appearance of their much‑loved dog, Roscoe, during the ceremony celebrations.
Following the ceremony, guests flowed naturally outdoors into Cain Manor’s gardens for a bottomless drinks reception. Under the early summer sun, the wedding party made full use of the venue’s grounds, offering sweeping countryside views and pockets of space for relaxed conversations. An intimate couple confetti moment on the Cain Manor steps added a burst of colour, perfectly matching the upbeat vibe of the day.
As evening arrived, the Cain Manor Music Room had been transformed for an evening party with a white LED dance floor, ready for the Matthew & Ryan’s first dance as a married couple. Indoor cold sparks created wow-factor moments and a picture-perfect backdrop.
