Choosing Botleys Mansion

During their wedding venue search, Victoria and Ben looked at around 15 different properties before falling in love with Botleys Mansion.

They loved the fact that Botleys Mansion could comfortably cater for their 185 wedding guests; the venue felt like a home for Royals – a place where they could be lord and lady for the day. They also found the Harper online planner really useful. The couple felt in control of everything during their planning experience and could keep on top of all of their wedding plans with ease.

The Dress

Victoria went shopping for her wedding dress in Essex and tried on only three gowns in the same shop and instantly found ‘the one’. The design that she chose made her feel like a bride from an Estee Lauder advert. The classic, white satin gown, designed by San Patrick made Victoria think that this particular style of gown would never date; she never wanted to tire of looking at her dress in her wedding photographs in the future. To complete her bridal style, Victoria bought a sparkly pair of Jimmy Choos – to match the sparkle in her fabulous engagement ring. The bride felt like a true Cinderella on her wedding day.
When it came to her bridal hair and beauty, Victoria hired her most trusted hair dresser, Leigh-Anna Marcus; the bride opted for a simple yet elegant, half-up half-down style. For her bridal makeup she commissioned ELISA Drummond who made Victoria feel absolutely beautiful.

The Bridal Party

When it came to the bridal party, Victoria chose five bridesmaids; Jenny, Anna, Holly, Daniela and Kay. The girls shopped for bridesmaid’s dresses together, with the bride, and ended up choosing a dusky pink gown which tied in with Victoria’s natural wedding theme perfectly.
Ben chose to have not one, but two best men on the big day, and four ushers. Alex, Martin, Ross, Darren, Adam, Elliot and the groom Ben all hired their stylish wedding suits from Dapper Formalwear.

After some celebratory drinks and lots of memorable photographs, the newlywed couple and their wedding guests enjoyed a sumptuous banquet in The Atrium. The wedding reception tables were decorated with a combination of tall and short floral arrangements, flourishing with peonies and freesias, that had once again been created by the amazing team at Sonning Flowers. For wedding favours, Victoria and Ben gave their guests a Celtic love knot wine stopper and when it came to having a special place for guests to drop cards, the couple hired the Harper postbox.

The reception

To add a bit of fun to their wedding reception, Victoria and Ben created a #hashtag station where people could use the hashtag #RosenthalWedding to print their pictures instantly. The couple also hired light up LOVE letters to stand near the dance floor to give the room another dimension.
