2024 MENU TASTING EVENT

Choosing the perfect wedding menu

As with standard wedding banqueting procedures across the industry, we ask our couples to select one principal dish and one alternative dish, per course, to be served to your guests.

When you book a wedding at Harper, you’re invited to attend a tasting event. Following a canapé reception, you’ll take your seats ready to receive our chef’s selection of delicious starters, mains and desserts. And that’s not all, our in-house Sommelier has carefully crafted the wine pairings to accompany your meal. Our tasting events are intended for our couples, however, for an extra charge, you are more than welcome to bring along additional guests to have a taste of each and help you make the decisions. Just speak to the planning team when arranging your appointment.

The selection process

This selection process isn’t just limited to the food… you need to feel equally as happy with the drink you’re going to be serving on the day, which is why we give you a selection of wine to taste during your tasting.

It is important that you highlight any dietary requirements to us at least two weeks before your tasting so that we can ensure you’re receiving suitable dishes on the day. We have a non-offensive and pork/shellfish-free option available where required.
