We wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the whole team for everything that you did to make the day special. From the moment we arrived and unloaded the cars, we knew we were in safe hands and you took all the stress away. The whole day ran so smoothly and was handled with care by you all, it allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the day. A big thank you to Emma as well for helping with the table decorations. They looked absolutely stunning and exactly how I’d imagined and hoped they would look like. Thank you again for helping create such a memorable day. We’re so grateful.

Thank you to you all for making our special day absolutely perfect. We have loved our Notley experience, from the first ever viewing to breakfast the day after! Everything went to plan, the suppliers were fantastic, the weather was great, the food was delicious, the venue looked gorgeous – it was everything we’d hoped for and for a lot of that we owe thanks to the amazing team that kept things running so smoothly throughout the day.

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Notley Abbey for our wedding. From the moment we booked, the entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly as we had envisioned. A special thank you to Maisie, who was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process. On the day, Philippa was incredible. She was so attentive, calm, and organised, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us or our guests. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the service throughout was impeccable. Every single one of our guests was completely wowed by the venue, and we’ve had so many compliments about how beautiful everything was.

From the second we walked up the beautiful driveway of Notley Abbey, we knew it was the venue for us. The beautiful grounds and stunning building captivated us from day one. What made this venue even more special was how amazing and incredible the staff were. Throughout the planning process, Maisie was absolutely incredible. She listened to everything and was always there to answer any questions that we had. On the day, the team were absolutely amazing. We had planned for an outdoor June wedding, and it rained all day! But it didn’t matter in the slightest. With such a beautiful venue outdoors and inside too, a team that worked so hard to make the day seamless, our wedding day was everything that we had dreamed of. Everyone was so kind, friendly and professional. They made us feel at ease before the ceremony, were organised, and took time to look after us, ensuring that we were well-fed, hydrated and looked after throughout the day. All of these little touches made the day feel even more special. Thank you to Notley Abbey from the bottom of our hearts – we would recommend you to anyone!

We were supported throughout planning by Maisie, and on the day by Philippa, who were incredible in making our day perfect for us. The online planner really helped to keep our day organised. The food was amazing, the service even better. Our guests loved the food and the set up of the bars throughout the day. The grounds were spectacular, helped by the weather on our day but absolutely would have worked with the rain to move inside and accommodate our 140 guests. This venue just says yes, and makes it work. We had trestle tables, not round, and fireworks. Both things that Notley helped us to accommodate that other venues didn’t.

We can’t thank you all enough for everything you’ve done for us in the lead up and on our wedding day. We havent stopped talking about all of the little details we keep remembering. Our guests keep messaging us about how fantastic the day was and how incredible the venue is. All of the service from each member of staff on the day was second-to-none so thank you to each and everyone of you. Phillipa, Maisie and Finn were outstanding on the day. Maisie, thank you for everything you did in the lead up to our wedding, you answered all my questions so promptly and professionally and organised everything we needed. Phillipa, I need you to be my mentor every day. Thank you for quietly and efficiently organising the day so effortlessly and then just chatting like my best friend when I needed to take a minute and take it all in. Finn, thank you for organising all of our wishes in the evening! No question was too demanding for any of you and we’ll be forever grateful. Thank you again from the bottom of our very full, newly-wedded hearts.

We had the most wonderful day! Maisie who was managing the planning was brilliant! She reminded us when things needed to be done and made it so easy for us! We could not have been more over the moon with how the day ran, all of the staff were just phenomenal. Philippa and Ellie were so lovely, they were brilliant with the kids, they made sure everything was running on time and made sure that we were never bothered throughout the day. The food was wonderful, everyone loved it! Even the breakfast the morning after was just what we needed! We had the most unforgettable day, all our guests were so complimentary of the venue, the staff and the food. We cannot thank everyone at Notley enough for giving us and our guests a day to remember!

We had the most magical wedding day at Notley Abbey, it was everything we ever dreamt of and more! Words can’t describe how wonderful it was, and we are so happy with our choice to get married there – there wasn’t anywhere that came close to how beautiful a venue it is. Our experience with Harper Weddings was second to none. Maisie in particular was amazing, from the very start and throughout the process. And her and Philippa on the day itself were incredible – we felt like ours was the first and only wedding at the venue, they (and the whole team) couldn’t do any more for us – and that made it even more special. Sonas was great to use too, and any questions we had were quickly addressed by Maisie and the team.

We cannot begin to describe how amazing Notley is as a venue. From the first day of viewing, right up until the wedding day, they made us feel special and that as the bride and groom we would “float” through the day. The venue speaks for itself, steeped in character and history whilst also having a beautiful blend of modern cosiness and British charm. Everything from the food, the bottomless reception drinks, the staff, the cocktails, the bedrooms, to the grounds was immaculate. A special shout out to Maisie and Phillipa who kept us both sane through the process, thank you endlessly.

What a day! From the very first time we contacted Notley Abbey the staff were so lovely and attentive. Even when we had to navigate postponing our whole wedding they were wonderful to deal with. Especially Maisie who assisted with the finer details and worked with us closely to plan the day. I was treated like royalty on the wedding day, Rachel and Ellie were so brilliant and I couldn’t thank them, and all of the staff enough for their hard work, it really allowed me to enjoy the day without a second to worry or plan. The venue speaks for itself, it’s so beautiful (in all seasons) and I would choose it every time. All of the guests commented how fabulous the venue was and how delicious the food was. I hope to return every chance we get, it was pure magic!

Notley Abbey and their staff went above and beyond to help make our dream wedding a reality. The wedding planning system was easy to use, and if I ever had any questions, Maisie and the team were always so quick to respond and ever so helpful throughout the entire process. I consistently felt confident that everything was being carefully managed and taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious and after enjoying the Tasting Experience immensely, we went into the wedding confident knowing that the breakfast would be enjoyed by everyone (and it was!). What really stood out to us though was the attentive staff, who really made us and our guests feel cared for on the day. I was so pleased to learn that every one of our guests were being taken care of so kindly and thoughtfully. Our wedding day felt like a fairytale which was brought to reality by the incredible team.

We’re still on cloud nine from the wedding. It was honestly everything we wanted and more. We can’t tell you enough how amazing the whole Harper Weddings experience was. From the moment we first visited Notley Abbey, you made us feel so looked after. The planning process was smooth, you were always there when we needed you, and on the day itself everything just flowed beautifully. The venue looked absolutely stunning and you really helped bring our vision to life. Our guests are still raving about it! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone getting married.

We had our wedding at Notley in November and it truly was the best day of our lives. The venue is stunning and speaks for itself but the staff at Notley are what make the difference. They went above and beyond to make our day run as smoothly as possible, all while making us feel special and cared for. They communicated well and let us know exactly what they needed and when. The food was phenomenal and the service on the day was exceptional. If you chose this as your wedding venue, you won’t be let down.

We had the most wonderful day and it was better than we could have ever dreamed of. Everyone there on the day was amazing. Ellie was super organised and we were amazed how much she knew about the wedding since she had not been involved in the pre wedding planning process. On the day her energy was exactly what we needed super calm efficient and everything she did was perfect and meant me and Hannah could relax. The day went perfectly, the room space was gorgeous, and the food was impeccable. We had many guests saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We really appreciated the ability to have a big breakfast the next day and it was a lovely way to finish off the whole wedding process.

We had an absolutely incredible wedding day and were blown away not only by how beautiful Notley Abbey looked, but also how brilliant the team were and the way they helped the day run so smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

From the second we arrived at Notley back in 2021 we fell in love with the place and knew that was where we had to get married. Fast forward to November 7th 2025 and we had the most incredible day. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team and the day was super relaxed, the drinks were constantly flowing, the food was out of this world incredible and they made our vision come to life. Thank you to absolutely everyone I wish I knew everyone’s names. But a big mention to Maisie in the planning team, and Natalie the manager on the day. Thank you for making our dreams come true.

As soon as we drove down the impressive drive way we knew this was were we wanted to get married! Through planning I knew I could call at any time and ask questions and they helped make my anxiety less for the big day! Massive thank you to Maisie! She was amazing! Nothing was to much. From the moment we arrived we were looked after! The day was seamless I have never felt such a relaxed atmosphere! The team were attentive and made sure we didn’t need anything because it was already there! If we did need anything it was never any trouble! We were so grateful for the team no words can express. The building and the garden was beautiful! Absolutely stunning!

From the emails, meetings and phone calls, your team made sure our day ran so smoothly and perfectly. All of our guests said how wonderful our day was, the venue was absolutely stunning and we will always cherish Notley Abbey. Maisie was so helpful with the whole planning process and on the day Ellie and Natalie were incredible. We couldn’t have done it without them. All the staff went above and beyond and were incredibly helpful, especially Moira. I would also like to thank Julie and Maisie for answering so many of my planning questions. So many of our guests have since commented on how kind and attentive the staff were and how stunning the venue was, which speaks volumes. Some of our guests even told us this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Our wedding was everything we had dreamed of and more. Notley Abbey gave us not just a wedding venue, but the wedding we had imagined, brought to life in the most seamless and beautiful way. We will be forever grateful, and we cannot recommend it enough.
