Your dream country house wedding venue in Surrey

A leafy private drive. Gravel underfoot. Then the house: Palladian, pale stone, with 56 acres of parkland rolling away on every side.

Botleys Mansion is thirty minutes from London. It feels a good deal further.

Inside, the Entrance Hall, the Morning Room, the Library, the Green Room and the Atrium, a glass-roofed orangery that holds the light all day and the stars after dark. There’s a piano in the hall. Word is, it plays itself. Outside, lawns, gardens and a fountain. All of it yours.

The house has a mysterious royal past. It prefers to keep the details for the tour.

CEREMONIES

Say it under open sky, with birdsong for an organist. Say it in the Green Room, among classical plasterwork and candlelight. Or say it in the Atrium, with a grand staircase entrance and the sun coming through the glass roof.

The house holds a cosy 50 or a full 360 for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 500 for the evening. Outdoor ceremonies run from April to September, at an additional charge.

We also proudly host Dry-hire Weddings, ensuring each cultural tradition and detail gets the attention it deserves.

RECEPTIONS

Confetti still in the air, the celebrations begin. The drinks reception unfolds in a romantic setting of your choice.

Bottomless Pimm’s by the fountain. Prosecco and canapés in the Entrance Hall, or champagne if you’d rather upgrade. Then into the Atrium for the wedding breakfast, delighting all your guests with wow-factor flavours.

After dark, the orangery becomes a dance floor. Live band, DJ, photobooth, espresso martini tower: bring whatever you’ve been planning. The house can handle it. It’s made for celebrating.

Getting Ready Room

The Getting Ready Room is yours from 9am, two hours before the rest of the house, and it’s included. Natural light. Four make-up stations. Lighting your make-up artist will thank you for, and a backdrop your photographer will too. A complimentary bottle of something sparkling, chilled and waiting.

Take your time. That’s what the morning is for.
